Job announcement for professor position in Space and Upper Atmosphere Sciences Group

The National Institute of Polar Research, Japan, is seeking applicants for professor position in Space and Upper Atmosphere Sciences Group, Division for Research and Education. The candidate is expected to promote observational studies on the middle and upper atmosphere science of the Antarctic and Arctic region, vertical couplings and MTI couplings, as well as to contribute to technical development of observations. Especially, the candidate is expected to coordinate and plan Japanese Antarctic and Arctic observations as a professor of an inter-university research institute.
