Job announcement for professor position in Geoscience Group

The National Institute of Polar Research, Japan, is seeking applicants for professor position in Geoscience Group, Division for Research and Education. The candidate is expected to promote studies on evolution and dynamics of the geosphere, in particular in polar regions, from the viewpoint of earth and planetary material sciences. The candidate is also expected to plan and conduct field research in the Antarctic, to promote collaboration and joint research with domestic and international researchers, and to develop actively new insights into polar sciences.
