Note: The copyright of the abstract belongs to the authors. Please note that Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Ninth Symposium on Polar Science has a right to publish the Abstract on the National Institute of Polar Research Information Repository (NIPR repository) website. Please read the operating guideline of the repository (https://nipr.repo.nii.ac.jp/?action=common_download_main&upload_id=7570) and continue to register only if you agree to the guideline. Acceptance of abstract

After the deadline of the abstract submission, the LOC finally decides to accept an abstract. An abstract, however, may not be adopted as judged inappropriate for presentation, e.g., in the following cases:

- the contents are found to be greatly different from the purports of the syposium and the session.
- the contents of the abstract are found to be scientifically inappropriate or poorly formatted as an paper for presentation.

Notification of acceptance (or not) for the abstracts will be sent via e-mail in September. For those who will not give any presentation in the symposium, travel expense (see the page of Registration form for details) will not be supported.
