The Arctic Sea Ice Forecast 2018 is a part of two international collaborative researches of the Arctic Challenge for Sustainability(ArCS) Project; Theme 1 (Predictability study on weather and sea-ice forecasts linked with user engagement) and Theme 5 (Study on Arctic climate predictability.)

You can see daily sea ice extents on the website of theme 8 (Arctic Data archive System (ADS). You can also see an actual extent of a day with a comparison of the above forecast data by using overlay option of the Quasi-real-time polar environment observation monitor "VISHOP" which is one of the application of ADS.
