ArCS project’s 2016 2nd plenary meeting was held at Miyoshi Memorial Auditorium and foyer, JAMSTEC Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences on Tuesday, 7th March 2016. The said event was attended by around 90 participants.
This time, the meeting focused on sharing activities and outcomes in 2016, which were presented by young and mid-level researchers from respective research themes and activities of the project. Fifteen presentations were given during the oral presentation session and 19 presentations during the poster session.
The first debriefing session of the program for overseas visits by young researchers was also held right after the plenary meeting, which will be reported later on the ArCS blog.
The next plenary meeting will be held in early summer of 2017.
