We conducted public relation activities during the Japan Geoscience Union (JpGU) 2018 Meeting which was held from 20th to 24th May, 2018 at Makuhari Messe, Chiba.
At the booth exhibition, we distributed the interim activity report and the brochures of core institutes, demonstrated ADS, and put up posters which introduces ArCS project with a focus on platforms for research in the Arctic region. We got about 350 visitors in 5 days.
The talk event by two young researchers who have been finished their visit was on 23rd and 24th May using the framework of the short seminar that JpGU offers free at the mini stage. They introduced the outline of their research, results and experiences. There were about 50 audiences for a total of 2 days.
