The second ArCS International Advisory Board (IAB) was held from 4th to 6th February 2019 at National Institute of Polar Research, Tokyo.
First, on Monday 4th February, PD, SPD and IAB members confirmed how to proceed with the meeting from next day.
On 5th and 6th February, Principal Investigators (PI) and Coordinator (CDN) made presentations on following topics:
- Achievements so far
- Outcomes so far and prospects/expectations in the future
- The way forward
There was a question and answer session after each presentation. And then, each IAB member gave a comment on the whole meeting.
At the end of the meeting, it was confirmed that the IAB will prepare a report for ArCS based on the discussion during the meeting. It is hoped that this report will be used as a reference to integrate various results of the project next year.
