ArCS project’s 2019 plenary meeting was held at Miyoshi Memorial Auditorium and foyer, JAMSTEC Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences on Monday, 22nd and Tuesday, 23rd May 2019. The event was attended by around 90 participants.
Same as last year, the meeting focused on sharing activities and outcomes in 2018, which were presented by young and mid-level researchers from respective research themes and activities of the project. 14 oral presentations and 24 poster presentations were given.
The second debriefing session of the program for overseas visits by young researchers was also held right before the plenary meeting, which will be reported later on the ArCS blog.
